These kitchens are definitely unique with some of the design elements they have used, and some of them are complete remodels that are just...different. Different in a good way, you know like Jennifer Lawrence oooor maybe Lady Gaga.
What do you dream of? A kitchen that is spotless, everything in it's place, with the most current fixtures and design? Or a kitchen that looks like it could be used on the set of Gladiator, filled with history and rugged simplicity? Perhaps you just want something a little different, cuz, who doesn't? I took a peak online to see what some of the most striking kitchen images I could find would be. I was not disappointed. I love looking at these out of the ordinary kitchens for renovation inspiration and really, just out of curiosity. People do some crazy s@$%.
I love all of these kitchen images above. Come on, what little kid didn't dream of living in a tree house or want to see what the Flinstone's kitchen would look like in real life! I don't imagine any of these options are pocket book friendly but they can get our brain working to do something creative with our own renovations right here is Saskatoon. Exposed brick, a one of a kind countertop, or one risky feature that you know your mother in law will hate. There is also something to be said for that over the top, OCD, everything in it's place with straight lines, pantry or exposed cabinetry. I couldn't pull that off put it looks great for those who can.
Who doesn't dream of waking up in the morning and pulling your chair up to an egg, or finding your way through a cubic maze kitchen? Crazy as they seem, I like being reminded that we don't need to be afraid to play and have fun with the spaces in our home. Especially our kitchens, we spend a ton of time in them doing a variety of things. I've also always dreamed of becoming an antique hunter. Finding that gem that's equal parts cool, unique, old, and valuable (though I found it for $0.25). I just never seem to get around to it. There isn't a ton of easy flea markets here is Saskatoon but Saskatchewan in lousy with amazing antiques that are hidden in attics or being sold out of no where gas stations. So if you are interested, hit the road and get looking. Also the local am radio garage sale shows can have amazing deals.
